Susukino Granbell Hotel

The location is perfect for exploring around Sapporo. There is subway station 'Hosui Susukino' just about in front of the hotel. From the New Chitose Airport, you can take Limousine Bus (go downstair and ask the staff at the airport, show them the hotel address and they'll help) and walk from the bus stop to the hotel for about 300 m. Also, taxi stand is available near the hotel (or download app Go, can call a taxi via app.) Buffet Breakfast is wonderful (We, as a family of 2 adults and 2 elders, stayed here for a week), various options to try and all delicious :D Staffs are polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable (For big two-sided lugguage, you can open and slide the bag to under the bed since there are not many empty space left in the room). There are laundry room and public bath (spa, separate for men and women). To go to Sapporo train station (in case you want to go to another town like Otaru, Tomamu, or Asahikawa, etc.), take subway to sapporo station (only 2 stations away) and follow the sign 'JR ...'. Besides Hosui Susukino station (Blue Line), the hotel is also near the Susukino station (Green Line) which trains come more frequently so you can check the schedule and pick the one that suits your time.

The staff were very helpful and very welcoming when we checked in and everyone we came back from a day out. The location was sensational for waking the sights and shopping. 7/11 and Lawsons were both very close for us to pop into. Fit our family wonderfully, we had side by side rooms with a double bed and twin beds for our boys. Breakfast was great.

location is great. lots of eateries nearby. staff are friendly and helpful. hotel is one of those eco-friendly ones which don't clean your room every day but they still do provide new towels and toothbrush every day and you can leave your trash outside the door, they will come and clear asap.

Very close to centre of Susukino. In house onsen/public bath was fantastic. Resting in the outside open air bath whilst it was snowing was magical. Twin room was clean and modern. Price was fantastic (much lower compared to price of hotels in more touristy cities (Tokyo, Osaka etc)). Overall great stay.

I loved that the hotel was near everything, especially the train station. They were accommodating when I emailed them about possible delays due to snow weather when arriving in Sapporo from Tokyo. The staff was accommodating in getting us to ship our luggage from the hotel to our next destination back to Tokyo. I will visit again!
